Got some feedback from another player who plays at Dogz often. I don't necessarily agree with the unlimited respawn (maybe occasionally), but the rest of the points seem pretty good to me.
- Need a faster pace of the game to keep people interested in the server. Deathmatch / unlimited respawn .. The version you guys are currently running are was only popular when GG first came out... 15-20yrs ago .. - Grenade .. need to do MORE Dmgs, remove the unlimited re-supply. - Knife, remove the throwing.. Or a the very least just 1 instead of 3.. A simple mechanic would be once you get a regular knife kill you gain 1 Knife throw .. But that again might get abused with unlimited respawn .. -Reg, something is off in your server don't know what it is.. - Killing the bot count as a kill. Including Nade/Knife. - Remove the auto-bot kill when all human of the same team are dead...
When i was playing in the server me and you we were both a knife/nade. game could have went on back and forth for 20-30min etc ...

Thank you for the ideas rex. I will respond in bold to your points one by one:

This will be something we need to get a vote on - also open to considering having different versions of GunGame on different days. For example, Monday-Wednesday "turboGG" like we have now, Thurs-Friday turboGG with unlimited/immediate respawn, Sat-Sunday classic GunGame with only one level up per round and no respawns in each round...etc.

I have tried my best to find a way to increase grenade damage without breaking other mechanics of the game but have yet to figure that out. If you can point me in the direction of a simple method by which I can do this via SourceMod or another compatible mod/script I am glad to work this out as I've seen this feedback multiple times.

I agree on not having throwing 24/7 - I like the idea of only having throwing knives on certain days similar to other servers (i.e. "throwing knife thursday") - this is something for a poll as well.

Not sure on this one - maybe try recording a game with the specs included in the recording as well to see if that helps to pinpoint anything but I haven't had that issue. Keep in mind this is a server hosted in Chicago and should be 100tick, not sure where you're at?

We added this at multiple admin request because certain maps would have the bots getting stuck and because of how long the rounds are, human players were stuck being unable to play. I can turn this off but then if there aren't any admins in the game, this might happen again. I'm ambivalent to this setting either way as I never play when bots are on anyways.

I did go ahead and cut the unlimited grenades out for now and make it 2 - and you still get an extra one if you make a kill for as many kills as you make in theory at least. We'll see how that goes. I am going to post 3 different surveys: 1.) Vote to have different game mode "special days" throughout the week. Just tentatively my thought for scheduled would be: -Monday-Wednesday: turboGG with unlimited level up, no respawn (this is what the server is currently running) -Thursday: "old school" mode with no unlimited level up and no respawns - only one level up per round per person - plus throwing knives for "Throwing Knives Thursday" (see below) -Friday-Sunday: turboGG with unlimited level up and respawn (which is what you're requesting - think how they run it at the Dogz gungame server, same concept) rotgclan.freeforums.net/thread/9/poll-scheduled-modes-thread-detailsWe can tweak the schedule but that's an initial thought just to get something up for a poll that can be decided on by the owners and admins as a group instead of me picking modes at random. 2.) Auto bot kill feature - this was originally requested because it would make some games last forever when the bots got stuck in a loop or on a level asset but if we want to get rid of this that's fine, especially since generally if the server is active there is at least one admin in there who can kill the bots if necessary. - add the option to have knife as well as grenade during warm up rounds. - increase time before the map switches after a win. - talk to MadGamer101 for tips and how-tos for improvements.

suggestions:
- turn on the option so we can see any player and their HP after death. put no ghosting in the MOTD, if someone is ghosting, kick them. i would like to see from what angle my enemy killed me and their HP. makes it a more enjoyable playing experience. - also, if there is a way to slay bots when playing an opponent that is human and we are on grenade or knife level. the reason for this, if it's me and bots on my team, and 1 human and bots on the opponent's team, if we grenade a bot, it doesn't go to level 23. there's no way to tell who's the bot and who's the human...the game gets drawn out and takes forever to get past level 22 grenade level. same issue with knife level 23. Most of the time you end up grenading or knifing a bot so it takes too long to advance.
